Just gorgeous words and images. I have had a couple of real life encounters with whales 🐋 The first in Kaikoura, soon after I arrived in New Zealand, and more recently whales stopped by when I visited the Gold Coast, Australia, the week of my 50th. They are other-worldly creatures. Reality seems suspended when they appear and they seem to offer a direct portal to the spirit world. A gift to be savoured and treasured 💙

I can't wait for the book to come out. since I'm in the US, it will be a while, but it will be worth the wait. I can give it to my grandchildren for Christmas. I love your art, and I wish you success in your artistic endeavors. I have a lyrical, rhyming picture book manuscript called "By The Sea" that I hope you'll illustrate one day. I just have to get an agent to get the ball rolling, which will hopefully happen this year.
